Whether it’s a staff meeting, retreat, community gathering, or strategy session, this training offers skills and practices for anyone who wants to hold space with more clarity, presence, and care. Coming together live is a gift and a choice point. We can default to old patterns: talking at people instead of with them, checking boxes, skimming the surface, avoiding what’s real. Or, we can gather with intention.
There’s no one “right” way to facilitate. But we’ve found some practices that work—consistently, meaningfully, and across contexts. In this training, we share what we’ve learned—humbly and honestly—as an invitation to explore new ways of showing up. Topics include: the art of holding space, designing for connection, and facilitating in the fire.

Our Facilitative Approach
We create a grounded, intentional space for meaningful connection and collaboration. Our facilitators guide participants to feel welcomed and centered so they can do their best work together.
How We Facilitate:
Calm and Presence: We prioritize slowing down and creating a calming environment, engaging the parasympathetic nervous system to promote focus and clarity.
Wisdom of the Group: We bring out the collective wisdom, encouraging participants to rely on each other and share their insights. We don’t act as "experts," but as guides to facilitate deeper connections.
Flexible Structure: Our sessions are thoughtfully planned but flexible, adapting to the needs of the group while staying aligned with the session’s goals.
Empowering Participation: We model curiosity and ask powerful questions, encouraging self-reflection and empowering participants to discover their own answers.
Whole-Being Engagement: Our approach integrates mind, heart, and body through practices, ensuring a holistic and engaging experience.
Play and Creativity: We intentionally create space for play, experimentation, and creative expression, helping participants access new perspectives, insight, and joy in the process.
Addressing Tension: We handle group tensions with openness, creating space for tensions to surface and be met with care, attention, and next actions where needed.
