  • Cost of travel to and from Montgomery is not included in the program fee.

We ask that participants plan to arrive in Montgomery by the morning of May 14th so everyone can participate in the Opening and Community Building at 1pm. The Montgomery Regional Airport is approximately a 15-minute drive from where we will meet, and rideshares can be sparse, so please plan to factor that time in to your arrival and departure if you are flying into and out of Montgomery.

Additionally, you can fly into Hartsfield–Jackson Atlanta International Airport and take a bus/shuttle to Montgomery via Groome Transportation or Greyhound. Please review the agenda carefully to confirm you will have enough time based on the duration of the bus ride, plus any additional travel time to get to/from the bus.

  • Lodging is not included in the cost of this immersive.

Our intention for this immersive was to reserve a block of rooms exclusively at Elevation Hotel, the space recently opened by Equal Justice Initiative (EJI), however, due to lack of availability at Elevation on the 14th, we are including another hotel with the option to move to Elevation for the nights of the 15th and 16th. We are also including the option to stay in a shared house with the Tapestry facilitators and Equity Advisors. The house will also serve as our processing space.
